Are you listening?

a poem

We must open our ears 
lest we miss
nature’s susurration
full of magical wisdom

For once in a blue moon
even a rock will open its mouth
and spill its secrets 
to anyone who will listen 

“What could the rocks know?”
“What wisdom do they have to share?”
My reply is simple:
“you’ll have to find out for yourself”
